Jerry Jones names Brian Waters as a starter

Jerry Jones indicated during a radio interview with Dallas’ KRLD-FM that veteran Guard Brian Waters will get the starting nod over Mackenzy Bernadeau at RG. Waters is a 6 time Pro Bowler that has impressed Jones.

“We thought Waters played good for the number of snaps he (had),” Jones said on his radio show aired on Dallas’ KRLD-FM. “So Waters will be in there. That’ll improve us.”

Coach Jason Garrett also believes Waters will help spark the running game.

“The more he plays, the better he’ll get,” Garrett said Monday. “But he did a nice job starting out in the game (Sunday).”

The Cowboys offense needs all the help they can get for a rushing offense that ranked 31st in league last season.

Thats the glaring problem that Jimmy Johnson decided to eleviate himself from,Too many Head Coach’s Jones shouldnt even be hardly seen much less heard from and announcing player decisions should be the coach’s job! Karma at work again this season,Go Texans!

This is the heart of our problem….owner/gm involved in naming starters….we have coaches (supposedly) to do this….we continue to wallow in mediocrity…

Totally agree, Kurt. Now that kissup Jason doesn’t call defensive or offensive plays he doesn’t even name starters. But the money is good so the ex Princeton wussy just shuts up and laughs all the way to the bank. I predict the boyz in da hood win just one more game this entire year – Oakland. Can’t wait to see the sheep’s response to a 2 – 14 year!
