Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher praised the fans of St. Louis as his teams prepares to move to Los Angeles for the 2016 season and beyond.
“The fans had nothing to do with this decision. We had such great fans there, through the thick and thin,” Fisher said. “I’m just really appreciative of the loyal fans in St. Louis who just lost their team. It’s not an easy situation to go through. On the other hand, we have to move forward.”
This is Fisher’s second time moving with a franchise. He moved with the Houston Oilers when they relocated to Tennessee and became the Titans.
“We’ve actually got a better team now than we did in Houston when we moved to Tennessee,” Fisher said.
Hopefully the Rams can find a quarterback and actually make it back to the playoffs. If they don’t they could have a hard time getting fans to come out to their games in Los Angeles.
The good news for the Rams is that they have star players like running back Todd Gurley and defensive tackle Aaron Donald.
Fisher is a good coach that shouldn’t have a hard time helping his team make the transition to the west coast.
