Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Jay Ratliff made an appearance on KTCK-AM (via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram) and he made it clear that the Cowboys’ defense is going to have an entirely new attitude this season.
“We’re not going to sit here and talk about what we’re going to do this year or all the expectations everyone else has for us,” said Ratliff. “I think the attitude for us this year needs to be, we’re going to be quiet. To put it bluntly, we’re going to shut up, not say a thing and do our jobs.”
The Cowboys have always been a team that seem to get caught up in the hype and talk that surrounds them. If they want to win another Super Bowl, they’re going to need to avoid any outside distractions and focus on the ultimate goal.
