With the drama that has been going on recently with the Philadelphia Eagles and running back DeMarco Murray, there have been reports that he would love for the Eagles to cut him so he can re-sign with the Dallas Cowboys.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday that Murray is actually building a home in Dallas.
How much did Dallas mean to former #Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray? I’m told he’s actually building a permanent home there.

The only problem with the Eagles cutting Murray this coming offseason is that they would have to take a $13 million cap hit after signing him to a five-year, $40 million deal this past offseason.
While it’s obvious that Murray isn’t a good fit in Chip Kelly’s offense, it would be wise for the Eagles to just modify their offense to fit him better after paying Murray so much money. It’s a waste for the Eagles to not use him in a way that would maximize his talents in order to help them win right now.
Then again we know how stubborn Kelly is. This is the same coach that’s traded away his two biggest stars in DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy.
