Tom Coughlin has never been one to pull any punches and Eli Manning is well aware of that, after a 0-5 start I’m sure the Giants meeting rooms are not a pleasant place to be right now.
“I honestly believe that he’s trying so hard to get us a win, he’s almost put too much on himself,” Coughlin said, via Gary Myers of the New York Daily News. “He keeps it all pretty much inside. I’m not making excuses. There were a couple of those plays that were terrible.”-NBCSports.com
Coughlin also said that Manning is a great player and that because of that he expects more from him than the poor play he’s been displaying. Obviously no changes are going to be made with a QB and HC combo that has two Lombardi’s but some frustration is definitely bubbling to the surface.
