With Johnny Manziel’s future with the Cleveland Browns looking bleak, we’ll have to wait and see what his future holds once the upcoming offseason arrives.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter told The Dan Patrick Show that Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, the San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams and Dallas Cowboys have all shown interest in Manziel.
.@AdamSchefter says Rams, ‘Boys, 49ers have looked hard at Manziel at some point. And Chip Kelly. “Somebody’s gonna roll the dice on him.”

There’s no doubt that the Eagles, 49ers and Rams still need a franchise quarterback. It’s clear that Sam Bradford is not the answer in Philly, Nick Foles is not the guy in St. Louis and the Niners will likely move on from Colin Kaepernick this coming offseason.
I find it very interesting that the Cowboys are interested in Manziel. While I wouldn’t expect them to move on from Tony Romo yet since his current deal doesn’t run out until 2020. I could see owner Jerry Jones acquire Manziel and have him sit behind Romo for a year, then trade Romo away to a team that could use a veteran for a couple of years.
No matter what happens to Johnny Manziel, it seems like Cleveland is not the place for him.
