Bucs have two players with MRSA infections

OG Carl Nicks and K Lawrence Tynes were diagnosed with MRSA. In response the Buccaneer organization took immediate action.

“We had a company … nuke the building a week ago after the cultures taken from Nicks and Tynes confirmed it was MRSA,” Dominik told ESPN. “It was a precautionary move, but we didn’t want to fool with it. Our owners said spare no expense.”- TampaBay.com August 22nd

MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is a serious staph infection that has developed a resistance to antibiotics in the penicillin and cephalosporin families. That eliminates several antibiotics that are generally used to treat similar infections.  The Bucs took the proper actions in eliminating the infection before it became a problem.
