As expected, Giants running back Brandon Jacobs returned to practice today and participated in drills during the portion of practice open to the media.
He’s expected to be listed as a limited participant on the official injury report.
Jacobs sat out yesterday with some swelling in the knee, a condition that has become unpredictable for the 31-year-old running back who has not played since a breakout 106-yard performance against the Bears back on Oct. 10.-NJ.com
Jacobs could spell RB Andre Brown who returned to heavy 3 carry workload on Sunday. Neither back is fully healthy and could benefit from the rest that the other will bring.
