With the fantasy football playoffs here, here are my top five waiver wire pick ups for week 14.
James White proved to the Patriots that he can be their full-time passing down back with Dion Lewis on injured reserve after lighting up the Philadelphia Eagles last week. I would be surprised to see Brandon Bolden on the field for more than a few plays.
You are probably thinking I’m crazy for mentioning IsaiahCrowell. But look who the Browns are playing this week. If you’re desperate for a starting back for week 14, sign Crowell. Cleveland is facing the 49ers and their terrible run defense.
DeVante Parker has really been coming on lately and the good news for the rookie wide receiver is that the Dolphins will be facing off against the New York Giants and their 32nd ranked pass defense.
With DeMarco Murray demoted, it looks like Darren Sproles is the best option in the Eagles back field. He led Philly in carries during last week’s win over the Patriots. Ryan Mathews could take some carries away from him now that he’s been cleared to play.
The Buccaneers are playing the Saints this week. Do I need to say anything else? Tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins should have a field day against the Saints pathetic defense this week.
