Sammy Watkins and 2 other Clemson Tigers to enter the draft

Clemson WR Sammy Watkins is considered by most the premier receiver prospect in the years group of eligible prospects. Watkins is now officially going to declare for the draft, waving his final year of eligibility.

A person familiar with the wideout’s decision said the record-setting Watkins would give up his final year with the Tigers to enter the NFL draft. The person requested anonymity since the school had not officially announced Watkins’

Watkins had a record setting Orange Bowl against Ohio State, recording 227 receiving yards on 16 receptions with 2 TDs. The source also reported that WR Martavis Bryant and CB Bashaud Breeland would forego their Senior seasons and opt for the NFL Draft as well.
