Daily Hits: Packers move Clay Mathews

Below is a list of NFL headlines from around the league. Bengals wide receiver Brandon Tate has been lining up as their second receiver alongside A.J. Green.  Not sure how long that will last. Texans head coach Gary Kubiak is looking for either Keshawn Martin or Trindon Holliday to step up and fill the hole left by [...]

Arrelious Benn is practicing with the third team offense

According to the Pewter Report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Arrelious Benn was practicing with the third team offense during Tuesday’s practice. Since being drafted in the second round of the 2012 draft, Benn hasn’t been the type of impact player the Buccaneers had hoped he’d be.  It looks like new head coach Greg Schiano is [...]

Buccaneers trade Kellen Winslow Jr. to the Seahawks

According to Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen, his team has acquired tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for an undisclosed 2013 draft pick. I’ll admit, I was wrong.  I really thought Winslow would be released, since it was believed that he didn’t have much trade value.  This is [...]

Report: Bucs could sign Dallas Clark as early as today

According to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com, free agent tight end Dallas Clark is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as early as today. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Buccaneers release Kellen Winslow either right before or right after they sign Clark. If Clark does sign with the Bucs, he’ll be primarily relied on [...]

Report: Bucs will likely release Kellen Winslow, sign Dallas Clark

According to Stephen Holder of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers are expected to released tight end Kellen Winslow and sign Dallas Clark, sooner rather than later. It doesn’t come as a shock that the Bucs will likely released Winslow, since it seemed very unlikely that any teams would make an offer for him.
