It sounds like the soonest that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck could return from injury is week 15 against the Houston Texans, according to CBS NFL Insider Jason la Canfora.
Andrew Luck is progressing well from his injuries and the Colts feel good about his ability to play in the regular season, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Luck is most likely to have a realistic opportunity to play in Week 15, given how he is coming along, though Week 16 would be more probable. The Colts play the Texans in Week 15 and travel to play the Dolphins in Miami in Week 16.
The good news for the Colts is that if Luck is unable to go for week 15, veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck already defeated the Texans on the road earlier in the season.
As much as Luck has struggled this season and as well as the 40 year-old Hasselbeck has played, the Colts are not expected to stick with Hasselbeck, which makes sense. If the Colts are going to have any shot at making a playoff run, it will be with Luck.
