Terrelle Pryor said in Peter King’s Monday Morning QB segment that he feels he owes Al Davis for the opportunity that he was given.
“I owe Mr. Davis,’’ Pryor told King. “This man believed I’d be a star quarterback. He said that to me multiple times. He took a chance on me when other teams wouldn’t. And I think he was smiling down a little bit today, watching this. This may sound crazy, but every day I’m thankful for what he did for me.” – Peter King’s MMQB via BlackSportsOnline.com
I would have to agree with those sentiments. Pryor wouldn’t have received the same chance in many organization and I believe that Al Davis’s encouraging words have motivated Pryor. Pryor still has a long way to go before he is a star QB but he certainly has all of the potential.
