During this past Saturday’s Broncos – Ravens game, Denver had the ball with 31 seconds left and two time outs to go in regulation, but head coach John Fox decided to kneel the ball rather than see of they could quickly get in field goal range.
Fox explained why he opted to kneel the ball and head into overtime.
Fox on kneeling for OT after Ravens 70-yd TD: "(The TD) was pretty devastating. It just didn't seem the right time…to go for the jugular."

While the decision to kneel the ball didn’t cost the Broncos to lose the game, it was still something that didn’t help them in the end.
