Chris Johnson eager to show his best days aren’t behind him

Chris Johnson shared his excitement for the season in an interview with CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco. The 27 year old running back also talked about his age and hinted that he may still have something left in the tank

Just don’t try and tell him he’s at that running back crossroads, where the body starts to slow, the speed isn’t what it was and the explosion is gone.

“It’s baffling to me when somebody can sit here and say I lost a step,” Johnson said. “They don’t know what they are talking about.” July 30th

I would be confident if I was Chris Johnson too. With the addition of guards Andy Levitre and Chance Warmack, Johnson may be running behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.
