Shaun Suisham continues to be money for the Steelers. Suisham went 4-4 on field goals against the Ravens. One of those field goals came in the waning seconds of the game, giving the Steelers the victory. Suisham is 14-14 on field goals, this season.
Le’Veon Bell put together his best performance of his young career, against Baltimore. Bell averaged 4.9 yards per carry, and he ran for 93 yards. Bell demonstrated great vision against the Ravens. He’s is a very smart ball-carrier; he waits for the play to develop. It’s very interesting to see where Bell goes from here.
It seemed like we heard Timmons’ name called every other play. Timmons racked up 12 tackles against the Ravens. We saw Timmons make a couple of tackles at the line. We also saw him make a big tackle behind the line, on a third down-and-one.
Gay deserves so much more credit than what he receives currently. Gay has easily been the Steelers’ best cornerback in 2013, thus far. He made two big pass break-ups, today; one of them saved a touchdown.
The Steelers offensive line plays better every week. The interior of the line made running the ball much easier for Le’Veon Bell. The offensive tackles played their best game of the season.
It’s really hard to put anybody on the losers list. Nonetheless, I believe Heath Miller deserves the right to be on this list. Miller dropped one pass, and he fumbled late in the second quarter. Miller’s fumble led to a Ravens field goal.
