For most of Antonio Cromartie’s 2008 season he played on a slightly fractured hip. It appears as though the hip is continuing to bother him.
“It wasn’t an impact injury at all,” Cromartie said, via Jane McManus of ESPNNewYork.com. “Something I just planted wrong, and it gave out on me a little bit.”
Cromartie was probable for Sunday’s game due to the hip injury, and he fully participated in practice all week.
“It’s the first time really this season, during my career, that it’s bothered me this much except when it happened in 2008,” Cromartie said. “It’s just a point of seeing what’s going on with it and go from there.”-ProFootballTalk.com
That is potentially bad news for a Jets secondary that ranks 23rd against the pass.
